General Jewish Hospital

The transformation of this hospital auditorium lobby is one of modern beauty. The minimalist 1″ x 1″ aluminum channel is seamlessly recessed into the millwork bringing light from ceiling to wall, and to ceiling again. The stunning two story lighting installation also achieves flow with the general linear lighting in the surrounding area.

What makes this installation unique is the use of the 1450 Luxline series. This series allows for continuous long lengths of light to operate without the use of drivers. Another desirable feature of the Luxline series is the white channel that sits inside the aluminum frame. This increases the light output while making it easier for the contractor to install.

Lumentruss worked with Hieu Nguyen and the acclaimed engineering firm Dupras Ledoux to bring the millwork and architecture to life in this hospital auditorium lobby.
